I facilitate a path for healing the heart, mind, and spirit.
I believe you deserve to live well, to live full, and be content.
I believe people want to lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
Relationships (family, friends, partners, community) are often the most grounding and connecting forces in life. It’s through relationships- with self, others, and the world, that we’re able to make sense of ourselves.
Sometimes, these same relationships can cause stress, tension, or fear.
I believe therapy is a useful place for approaching things that can be difficult, uncomfortable, and cause stress or anxiety. Through a collaborative approach, I walk hand-in-hand with clients to explore barriers that are preventing people from accessing their best selves.
The dimensions of our culture are important and influence the way we make sense of our lives and walk through the world. I explore these areas as a key part of providing culturally sensitive therapy.
I’m passionate about therapy and enjoy helping families, couples and individuals move through stuck points, difficult dialogues, and establish more helpful ways of interacting.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Illinois and New York. I received my master’s and doctorate in marriage and family therapy from Syracuse University. I am a clinical fellow and Approved Supervisor through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
As a fellow in thanatology, I am recognized as having expertise in grief, loss, and bereavement by the Association of Death Education and Counseling.
My calling is to contribute to healing; one individual, couple, family, and organization at a time.
